PHOTOS: Atrium Health Navicent holds community food distribution
Hundreds of automobiles lined up along Eisenhower Parkway as Atrium Health held a free food distribution event June 21.
Over 200 volunteers helped hand out 120,000 pounds of fresh produce during a drive-thru food distribution event hosted by Atrium Health Navicent on June 21. Atrium partnered with Society of St. Andrew, the Southeast Produce Council and Horace Holmes Ministries to distribute the food at Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care West located on Eisenhower Parkway. “Access to healthy food is an essential part of improving the health of our community,” Atrium Health Navicent President Delvecchio Finley said in a press release.
