Yes.

The first phase of the I-16/I-75 interchange was completed in 2023 after initial work began in 2017. In 2018, it was reported that the initial phases of the project would be completed in 2021.

The second and third phases of the project were projected to be completed in the fall of 2025. The $620 million project is now scheduled to be completed in 2030.

Construction on the final stage of the project began in November 2025.

I-16 starts in Macon and goes all the way to Savannah. The interchange project will widen the two interstate highways and try to reduce congestion.
