The GIAA begins its postseason this week, and several Macon teams are in the fray for baseball and soccer.

An impressive trio of Macon teams — FPD baseball, Stratford girls soccer and CFCA girls soccer — all earned the No. 1 seeds in their respective tournaments.

All told, there will be 14 different teams from seven different schools in the playoffs. Five teams will get a bye because they have top-five seeds in their respective brackets.

All games — and series, for the baseball tournament — are scheduled to begin Friday. See which teams made the playoffs below. Times for playoff matchups will be added as they are announced.
