Theatre Macon will host a dress rehearsal benefit performance of “Come From Away” Thursday, April 30, at 8 p.m., ahead of its regional premiere (May 1–10). All proceeds will benefit the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank.

Based on the remarkable true story of Gander, Newfoundland, Come From Away tells how a small town opened its heart to thousands of stranded travelers on September 11, 2001 — offering compassion, connection and a powerful reminder that we are all part of one global family. Its message of hope, generosity and community beautifully aligns with the mission of the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank.

The 90-minute performance will be followed by a post-show conversation with the Theatre Macon cast and creative team.

Tickets cost $25. There will be no intermission and the show will include mild adult language.
